Ashley Judd, who has been busy lately with her work with YouthAids, has just designed a new clothing line for Goody. What makes this celebrity fashion line different from the numerous others out there?? A couple of things.
First, sales of the actress/activist’s new line will benefit education charities across America. Secondly, Judd designed the line to be eco-friendly and calls the line “cruelty free — cruelty free to people who manufactured it and friendly to the earth,”
When first approached to design the new line, Judd wasn’t sure if it was something she wanted to do. She later changed her mind saying:
”At first, I wasn’t interested. In my view there is already enough stuff in the world, but when they told me it would raise funds for schools, I changed my mind. Our schools are in dire need. With my eco-friendly, moderately priced clothes, Goody’s will give away a half a million dollars to schools in need.
And that’s just the first year.”
